Baby Haven Child Care
Y-CARE Childcare Services is a community-based early childhood development program supporting children aged 6 months to 3 years through nutrition support, health referrals, psychosocial care, early learning stimulation, and caregiver empowerment.
A total of 587 children have been supported since 2024, comprising 328 girls and 259 boys. The children included those born to adolescent mothers, orphans under kinship care, and those raised by elderly grandmothers.
Before intervention, many children faced poor nutrition, limited healthcare access, weak caregiver support, and lack of early stimulation. After Y-CARE support, children experienced improved health, better nutrition, stronger protection, and enhanced emotional and cognitive development. Caregivers gained parenting skills and psychosocial support, leading to safer and more stable homes. Overall, both girls and boys are now healthier, better protected, and more supported to grow, learn, and thrive.
