Programme Achievements
1. Increased Access to Quality Education
The programme enrolled and supported 1,345 vulnerable children (100%) with quality early childhood education. Children accessed age-appropriate learning materials, trained teachers, and safe learning environments that strengthened foundational literacy, numeracy, creativity, and communication skills.
2. School Feeding and Nutrition
All 1,345 children (100%) benefited from school feeding and nutrition interventions, improving attendance, concentration, classroom participation, and overall physical growth.
3. Child Protection and Safeguarding
The programme ensured that 1,345 children (100%) learned in safe and protective environments through child safeguarding policies, child rights awareness, referral systems, and community protection mechanisms.
4. Psychosocial Support
A total of 1,345 children (100%) participated in psychosocial support activities, including play-based learning, mentorship, counselling, recreation, music, storytelling, and social-emotional development, resulting in improved confidence, resilience, and positive behaviour.
5. Transition from Baby Haven
The programme successfully supported 587 children (43.6%) to transition from Baby Haven Childcare Services into Early Childhood Education, ensuring continuity in learning and reducing developmental and educational gaps during the critical early years.
6. Parent and Caregiver Engagement
More than 587 parents and caregivers (43.6%+) participated in parenting education, child development sessions, nutrition counselling, and school engagement activities, strengthening family support for children’s education and well-being.
