YHBI commits to see youth with different abilities soaring in their area of gifting and interests.
Both Girls and Boys whose desire are to perfect their skills in either: Football,, Netball, Volleyball, Handball, athletics and any other youth based sporting activity.
TARGET:
In both Suna west and Nyatike Sub-counties, we target 10 community youth based football teams, 4 Netball teams for girls , 10 Volleyball teams (5 girls team & 5 boys team), 4 Handball teams (2 for girls and 2 .for boys) for trainings, Mentorships, equipping and skill empowerment.
CHALLANGES:
Many talented youths in sporting activities and those who desire to be trained are left helpless in the community.
These has led many into peer teams with influence into drugs and substance abuse, community vice like rape, stealing and robbery.
OUR APPEAL:
Funding for:
v Training and mentorship programs in sporting activities.
v First AID kits.
v Training Materials including quality balls.
v Transport Facilitation to and from the fields.
v Uniforms and sporting gear.
v Tournament and competitions award.
v Sponsorship of best players into sporting academies.
Music is an industry that need to be invested in especially to uplift the ability, talents and gifts of youths.
YHBI focuses on partnership with youth groups and teams from different organizations, churches who need the helping hand in order to train, be mentored and equipped and guided in Christian Gospel Music.
We focus to partner with different churches, youth groups, teams to build a formidable team that can propel the gospel of LOVE, PEACE, UNITY, COHESION and anti-FGM , Rape & GBV.
This will helps to heal different communities and bring together different stakeholders especially during and after the divisive electoral cycles.
OUR TARGET:
Raise 120 well equipped , trained and mentored talented and gifted youths who can propagate the gospel of LOVE, PEACE,UNITY, COHESION and anti-FGM , Rape & GBV both within Migori County and beyond. and uphold Christian value in our Society.
